What is included in the Hoof Pack Clay and Hoof Mate Combo Pack?
The combo includes one 200 g tub of Hoof Pack Clay and one box of 30 Hoof Mate tablets, which makes up to 15 litres of hoof-soaking solution.

This two-step hoof care combination brings together a hoof-soaking product for thorough cleansing and a cosmetic clay for targeted application within suitable frog grooves and hoof crevices.
How do you use Hoof Mate and Hoof Pack Clay together?
Prepare and use the Hoof Mate soaking solution according to the manufacturer’s directions. After soaking, allow the hoof to dry before smearing Hoof Pack Clay into the intended frog grooves and suitable hoof crevices.
How often can the products be used?
Follow the individual directions supplied with each product. The current Hoof Mate directions recommend soaking two or three times per week, with Hoof Pack Clay applied between soaks as required.

Yes. The products may be used by horse owners, owner-trimmers, farriers and hoof care professionals who understand how to prepare and maintain the intended hoof areas.

Prepare and use Hoof Mate strictly according to the directions provided on the manufacturer’s packaging.
After soaking, remove the hoof from the solution and allow it to dry.
Smear Hoof Pack Clay into suitable frog grooves and hoof crevices, following the individual product directions.
The products are designed to be used in conjunction with each other as part of a regular hoof care routine. Follow the separate directions and cautions for both products.

Hoof Pack Clay is Australian made from a proprietary cosmetic blend containing selected clays, minerals, Manuka honey, botanical ingredients and essential oils.
Hoof Mate contains chlorine dioxide-forming tablets. Refer to the manufacturer’s packaging for the complete ingredient and product information.
The full Hoof Pack Clay formulation is proprietary.
Appearance may vary slightly between batches due to the nature of the ingredients.

Use Hoof Mate only in a well-ventilated area.
Do not breathe the gas produced by the activated Hoof Mate solution.
Do not use metal utensils, containers or soaking equipment with Hoof Mate.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Store both products below 25°C and away from direct sunlight. Keep the Hoof Pack Clay lid firmly closed and retain the Hoof Mate tablets in their original sealed packaging.
Shelf life varies between products. Refer to each individual product container for the applicable shelf life.
Hoof Mate first aid: Do not swallow. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush the area with running water. If the product enters the eyes, flush with running water and continue until advised to stop by a Poisons Information Centre or doctor, or for at least 15 minutes.
